A Few Tips Before You Write
- Write clearly and large. Bigger, legible handwriting goes a long way.
- Keep it light. Steer clear of religion and politics, so your letter feels welcoming to anyone reading it.
- Make it personal. A doodle, a photo, or a favorite quote all make a letter feel like you wrote it.
- No reply expected. Write because it matters, not because you're expecting one back.

We started LetterLink when we noticed how much a single compassionate letter could mean to someone. What began as a small project has grown into an ongoing effort to pair volunteer writers with seniors looking for companions.
